Voiding Standard Journal Entries

You are also given the option to void a journal entry after you have added, changed, or viewed an entry. Command options will appear, allowing you to void the standard journal entry.

1. When you first enter the Journal Entries option a Select An Option window will appear. Select Standard Journal Entries.

2. A Select An Option window will appear. Select the standard journal entry you wish to void.

3. The standard journal entry will appear. Command options will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select Void to remove the standard journal entry.

4. The following message will display: "Void this Standard Journal Entry? No/Yes?"

• Select yes if you wish to void the standard journal entry.
• Select no to return to the command options without voiding the standard journal entry.

Select yes.

The standard journal entry has now been removed.
